Pirate Night!
Pirate night was my favorite evening on the Disney Dream Cruise! At turn down service you get bandanas on your bed to wear. You can also stop by the gift shop for eye patches, pirate Mickey and Minnie ears, etc. I was surprised at how many people dressed up in full pirate costumes for the night. On our cruise it seemed more people dressed up for pirate night than Halloween night!
Pirates of the Caribbean Dinner
Our pirate night dinner was at the Enchanted Garden. The menu had some fun pirate meal items with names from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
On pirate night they have special skull mugs that glow in the dark. Jake really liked it and got it for his dinner meal drink. Our waiter was super kind and even cleaned it and washed it before you left.
Meet the Captian
This is Captain Henry Andersson. We got to meet him in the Lobby. Lindy gave me the pirate hat she made at dinner, so I was glad we could represent a little bit on pirate night!
Pirate Night Show
Character Meet and Greets
At the meet and greets all the characters had pirate gear on. I wish we had more time to take pictures with more characters!
Buccaneer Blast featuring Jack Sparrow!
The rain cleared up and so we all got to move outside for the Buccaneer Blast! The show started off with Jack Sparrow and his mates having a little battle! Then it went on to end with a firework show. If you go to the top deck to the right of the stage you can have a great view of the show and front row spots for the fireworks! You can see the fireworks from all over the decks but if you want to be right by them, top deck right of the stage.
Club Pirate Dance Party
After the fireworks show there is a dance party! A DJ is there and time to dance to some fun beats! We danced till the music stop! It was so much fun!
Once you are done dancing you can head to the buffet! On pirate night they have large turkey legs! The same ones that they have at Disneyland! It’s awesome! Pirate night is the only night there is a full late night buffet so make sure to head your way over for some fun food!
Ghost Stories
The last event of the night is Haunted Stories of the Sea. It’s on the main deck. It was a little chilly out so we got some towels from the warming boxes as we set on the deck and listened to some stories.
